Require Health Specialty Instructor with healthcare background to plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course materials, and methods of instruction; compile, administer, and grade exams; prepare and deliver lectures to the students on healthcare specialty courses; prepare course materials; maintain student attendance, grades, and other required records; observe and evaluate student’s performance; prepare students for careers in healthcare fields; keep abreast of developments in the healthcare field by reading current literature and participating in professional conferences; assist school with community outreach for health promotion. Work with sonography modalities.

Students and Staff of Stratford’s AIHT Support “Paint The Town Pink”

On September 15, 2015 Students and Staff from the American Intsitute of Healthcare and Technology collected donations of items and gift cards to create a basket that they donated to Stamford Hospital’ss “Paint The Town Pink”. The baskets collected will be raffled off during their month long series of social and educational events designed to promote breast cancer awareness. AIHT is an allied healthcare training school located in here in Stratford, CT and offers programs such as: Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonography), Echocardiography Technician, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, Medical Billing & Coding Specialist, Medical Assistant programs.
Currently located at 300 Long Beach Boulevard, in Stratford, the school will be moving to its new and larger location at 480 Lordship Blvd on October 1, 2015.

Enrollment is open for Clinical Cardiographic Technician Program

AIHT Education in Stratford, CT is introducing new course Clinical Cardiographic Technician program (Advanced EKG training). Enrollment is open for this program and classes start on May 12th, Monday. Schedule an Appointment with admission counsellor or simply Walk In to discuss career opportunities.

This is Advanced EKG Program and covers all the important training related to carrying out ones duties as an EKG/ECG Technician. Moreover this course also provide training for (1) Stress Testing and (2) Holter Monitoring via classroom training and practical experience using latest equipment and machine in the Lab. This course widens the scope of learning, job opportunities and prospect of earning higher income in a competitive allied healthcare field.

Both Day and Evening classes are available on Weekdays (Monday to Thursday). For working professionals, Weekend classes are available on Saturdays.

ICD-10 Training Now Available at AIHT Education

Federal law has mandated that the healthcare industry implement the ICD-10 code set by October 1st, 2014. In preparation for this industry-wide change, AIHT Education will now be offering ICD-10 training as part of its Medical Billing & Coding program beginning April 28th, 2014.

ICD-10 offers a much more specific coding system and is therefore drastically different from the ICD-9 code set that is currently in practice in the United States. The current code set contains approximately 18,000 diagnosis and procedure codes while the soon to be implemented ICD-10 contains well over 100,000 codes. Proper knowledge and training is required for all medical personnel to ease the transition.
